Solution

The correct option is A A = 3 ; B = 8 ; C = 12
Given:
Column 1 : Column 2=2:3

The ratio 2:3 can be expressed as the fraction 23

When the value in column 1 is 2, the value in column 2 will be 3.

A=3

Given:
Row 1 : Row 2=1:4

The ratio 1:4 can be expressed as the fraction 14

Multiplying both the numerator and the denominator by 2, we get:

14=1×24×2=28

When the value in row 1 is 2, the value in row 2 will be 8.

B=8

Also, multiplying both the numerator and the denominator by 3, we get:

14=1×34×3=312

When the value in row 1 is 3, the value in row 2 will be 12.

As we found out, A = 3

C=12
