(i) Here, $a = 5 d = 11 - 5 = 6 T_{n} = a + (n - 1) d = 5 + (n - 1) \times 6 = 6 n - 1$

(ii) Here, $a = 16 d = 9 - 16 = - 7 T_{n} = a + (n - 1) d = 16 + (n - 1) \times (- 7) = 23 - 7 n$
