Find the perimeter of a rectangle whose area is 600 cm2 and breadth is 25 cm.

Let the length of the rectangle be x cm.
Breadth of the rectangle is 25 cm.
Area of the rectangle = (Length × Breadth) cm2
= (x×25) cm2
=25x cm2

It is given that the area of the rectangle is 600 cm2.
25x=600x=60025=24
So, the length of the rectangle is 24 cm.
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth) units
= 2(25 + 24) cm
= 98 cm
