Open in App
Solution

Finding the perimeter of the rectangle

We know that, perimeter of the rectangle =2(l+b), where l=length,b=breadth

First, we make the units of length and breadth same

We know that 1m=100cm

Length =4.5m=4.5×100=450cm and breadth =60cm

Therefore,

Perimeter =2(450+60)

=2(510)=1020cm

Hence, perimeter of the rectangle is 1020cm
