Find the ratio of the following in simplist form.

4 litres to 250ml.

To get the ratio of 4 litres to 250ml, we have to get both units same i.e. denominator and numerator both must have same units.

So we will convert litres into ml first.

As we know, 1litres=1000 ml.

So, 4 litres =4×1000=4000 ml.

Now ratio of 4 litres to 250 ml can be written as 4000ml250ml

=4×4×250250

=161 or 16:1

Hence, ratio of 4 litres to 250 ml=16:1.
