Finding the slope of line AB
Let A(−1,2√3)=(x1,y1) and B(−2,√3)=(x2,y2).
We know that,
Slope of line AB =y2−y1x2−x1
=√3−2√3−2−(−1)
=−√3−2+1
=−√3−1
∴ Slope of line AB=√3
Finding the inclination of line AB
Let inclination of line AB be θ∘.
∴tan θ= Slope of line AB
⇒tan θ=√3
⇒tan θ=tan 60∘
∴θ=60∘
Hence, the slope of a line AB is √3 and inclination is 60∘.
