Given, 4x574=x5+x4.

(4x574)=(x5+x4)

((4×4x)(7×5)20)=(5x+4x20) ... [Cross-multiplying the denominators]


(16x3520)=(9x20)

16x35=9x.

Transposing x terms to one side, we get,
16x9x=35

7x=35

x=357=5

x=5.

Hence, option A is correct.
