Find the value of $a$ , so that point $(4, a)$ lies on the line $3 x - 2 y = 5$ .

$3 x - 2 y = 5$
Given $(y, a)$
$x = y, y = a$
So $3 (4) - 2 (a) = 5$
$12 - 2 a = 5$
$2 - 5 = 2 a$
$7 = 2 a$
$a = 7 / 2$
