Find the value of CD?
4 cm
6 cm
9 cm
12 cm
Joint point A to C and B to C
So, AD×BD=CD2 (The diameter of a circle bisects the chord)
∴ CD2=18×2
CD2=36
CD =6 cm
In the above figure, AB = 7 cm & BC = 9 cm. Find the length of CD.
In the adjoining figure, ∆ ABC is right angled at ∠A, CD = 8cm & DB = 18cm. Find AD and the ratio of areas of ∆ ADB : ∆ CDA.
In trapezium ABCD, AB=16 cm, CE=4 cm and the area of trapezium =50 cm2. Find CD.
