Given $4 x + i (3 x - y) = 3 - i 6$
Comparing real and imaginary parts
$⟹ 4 x = 3 ⟹ x = \frac{3}{4}$
and $3 x - y = - 6 ⟹ 3 (\frac{3}{4}) - y = - 6 ⟹ y = \frac{9}{4} + 6 = \frac{33}{4}$
