Given, $(x-3,-6)=(4,x+y)$
Two ordered pairs are equal if their corresponding coordinates are equal.
$x - 3 = 4$
$\Rightarrow x = 4 + 3$
$\Rightarrow x = 7$
and
$- 6 = x + y$
$\Rightarrow - 6 = 7 + y$
$\Rightarrow - 6 - 7 = y$
$\Rightarrow y = - 13$
Hence, the required point is
$(7, - 13)$ , and this point lies in quadrant-IV
