Find the value of $x$ and $y$ in $3x+2y=4$ and $2x-3y=7$

$3x+2y=\mathrm{4..........}\left(1\right)$

$2x-3y=\mathrm{7..........}\left(2\right)$

Multiplying equation (1) by 3 and equation (2) by 2 and adding them,

$9x+6y=12$

$\underset{–}{4x-6y=14}$

$13x=26\Rightarrow x=\frac{26}{13}=2$

Now,put the value of x in equation (1)

$3\times 2+2y=4\Rightarrow 2y=4-6\Rightarrow 2y=-2\Rightarrow y=-1$
