Solution
The correct option is D7 and 5 x−y=2 ------- (1) 2x−y=9 ------ (2) From equation (1) : y=x−2 Substitute the value of y in equation (2): 2x−y=9 2x−x+2=9 x=9−2 x=7 Now, Substitute x=7 in equation (1): x−y=2 7−y=2 y=7−2 y=5 Therefore the solution is: x=7 and y=5
