The correct option is D 7 and 5
xy=2 ------- (1)
2xy=9 ------ (2)
From equation (1) :
y=x2
Substitute the value of y in equation (2):
2xy=9
2xx+2=9
x=92
x=7
Now, Substitute x=7 in equation (1):
xy=2
7y=2
y=72
y=5
Therefore the solution is: x=7 and y=5
