Let us look at B first.

This means B could be 3 or 8.

(i) If B = 3,
A3 x 6 = C88
1 will be there as carryover on A
So A x 6 + 1 = C8
That means After multiplying A with 6, 7 should come at unit's place but none of the multiples of 6 ends with 7.
So B can not be 3

(ii) Now if we take B = 8
then A8 x 6 = C88
4 will be there as carryover on A
So A x 6 +4 = C8
we need 4 at the units place, so that when it is added with the carryover 4 we get 8.
so A can be either 4 or 9. Since we have only 4 in the options, let's take A as 4 and check.
then 4 x 6 + 4 = 24 +4
