Component of the velocities of the end A and B along the rod should be same.


So, referring to the figure we have,
$V_A\cos {45}^{\circ }=V_B\cos {30}^{\circ }$
$\Rightarrow V_B=\frac{v_0\cos {45}^{\circ }}{\cos {30}^{\circ }}=\frac{v_0\times 1/\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{3}/2}=v_0\sqrt{2/3}$
