The correct option is B - 3 V
Given : I1=2 A

As no current flows between x and y, thus Vxy=VxVy=5 V ...........(1)

Using Kirchhoff loop law in Box 2 : 30+(4+6)I2=0 I2=3 A

Also VyVb=4I2=4×3=12 V .........(2)

Box 1 : VaVx=2×5=10 V ..........(3)

Adding (2) and (3) we get Va(VxVy)Vb=2

VaVb+5=2 VaVb=Vab=3 V
