Find the volume in cubic metre (cu. m) of each of the cuboids whose dimensions are:
(i) length $=12m$, breadth $=10m,$ height $=4.5m$
(ii) length $=4m,$ breadth $=2.5m,$ height $=50cm.$
(iii) length $=10m,$ breadth $=25dm,$ height $=50cm.$

(i) Length $=12m$

Breadth $=10m$

Height $=4.5m$

$\therefore$ Volume of the cuboid $=length\times breadth\times height$

$=12\times 10\times 4.5=540m^3$

(ii) Length $=4m$

Breadth $=2.5m$

Height $=50cm=\frac{50}{100}m=0.5m$ ($\because 1m=100cm$ )

$\therefore$ Volume of the cuboid $=length\times breadth\times height$

$=4\times 2.5\times 0.5=5m^3$

(iii) Length $=10m$

Breadth $=25dm=\frac{25}{10}m=2.5m$ (∵ 10 dm= 1m)

Height $=25cm=\frac{25}{100}m=0.25m$

$\therefore$ Volume of the cuboid $=length\times breadth\times height$

$=10\times 2.5\times 0.25=6.25m^3$
