(a) Chlorine gas(b) Calcium oxide(c) Carbon monoxide

Open in App
Solution

a) 1 mole of chlorine gas weighs 71 g and contains Na molecules.( Avogadro's law)
Where, Na= Avogadro's Number= 6.022×1023
Thus weight of 100 molecules of chlorine gas is 71×100÷Na=11.78×1021
b) Similarly for CaO, Ans: 56×100÷Na=9.29×1021
c) Similarly for CO, Ans: 28×100÷Na=4.64×1021
