x/28 = 28/y
xy = 28*28

third propotional:
x/y = y/224
x = (y^2)/224

Putting x into first equation

((y^2)/224)*y = (y^3)/224 = 28*28

y^3 = 28*28*224
= 175616
y=cube root of(175616)
= 56

x = 56*56/224
x = 14

Therefore numbers are 14 and 56
