Five years ago, age of Ganesh $= x - 5$
Age of Gouri $= 3 x - 5$
After ten years, age of Ganesh $= x + 10 + 5$
Age of Gouri $= 3 x + 10 + 5 = 3 x + 15$
According to the question,
$3 x + 15 = 2 (x + 15)$
$3 x + 15 = 2 x + 30$
$3 x - 2 x = 30 - 15$
$x = 15$
Present age of Ganesh $= x + 5 = 15 + 5 = 20$ years
Present age of Gouri $= 3 x + 5 = 315 + 5 = 50$ years
