Since the amplitude of displaement of the SHM is α, the SHM would have the form,
x=αsin(ωt+ϕ)
Thus v=dxdt=ωαcos(ωt+ϕ)

Similarly, acceleration of the particle in SHM is dvdt=ω2αsin(ωt+ϕ)
