For a step-up transformer
Number of Turns : Ns > Np, Thickness of Coil : Ts < Tp
In a step-up transformer, the number of turns in the secondary coil is more than that in the primary coil, while in a step-down transformer, the number of turns in the secondary coil is less than that in the primary coil. However in a step-up transformer the thickness of the secondary coil is lesser than that of the primary coil.
