(cosα+sinα)
Multiplying and dividing by 2
Therefore
2(cosα2+sinα2)
=2(sinπ4cosα+cosπ4sinα) ...(sinπ4=cosπ4=12)
=2sin(π4+alpha)
Since 0<θ<π2
sin(π4+α) is maximum for sin(π4+α)=1
Therefore
π4+α=π2
α=π4=450
