The correct option is A (mT0V0+1)R
For an adiabatic process, the equation of state can be written as
TVγ1= constant
Applying logarithm on both sides,
lnT+(γ1)lnV= constant
Differentiating both sides with respect to T, we get
1T+γ1VdVdT=0
dVdT=VT(γ1) ......(1)
Given that, (dVdT)V0,T0=m
From (1), we can write that V0T0(γ1)=m1γ1=mT0V0
Now, CV=Rγ1=mRT0V0
& Cp=CV+R=(mT0V0+1)R
Thus, option (a) is the correct answer.
