For the following algebraic equation 4x + y = 3, if we put x = 1 and y = 3 then LHS will be equal to RHS.
I have doubt with question no 2 from ex 3.1 . In this question the equation 3x+6y=3900, x+3y=1300 if I divide first equation by 3 I get x+2y=1300. So how it possible that x+3y=1300 and x+2y=1300 both rhs is same but not LHS. Please explain this question
We can balance the following ionic equation by adding
6Fe2+(aq) + Cr2O72-(aq) → 6 Fe3+(aq) +2Cr 3+(aq)
In the 1st figure, the left hand side (LHS) and the right hand side (RHS) of the weighing machine are equal to each other. If we add 2 on the RHS, the balance looks like figure 2. What should we do to equalize LHS and RHS again?
