For the following arithmetic progressions write the first term a and the common difference d:
0.3,0.55,0.80,1.05,....

Given Arithmetic progression (A.P) is
0.3,0.55,0.80,1.05,........

Hence the first term of the A.P is given by
a1=0.3
And the common difference of an A.P is given by the difference of two successive terms .
(i.e.,d=an+1an)
By putting n=1 in above expression we get
d=a2a1
Put a1=0.3 and a2=0.55
d=(0.55)(0.3)
d=0.25
