$\Rightarrow 3x-7=-5y$ .....(i)

any $2y=x+5\Rightarrow y=(x+5)/2$ .....(ii)

$\therefore 3x-7=\frac{-5}{2}(x+5)\Rightarrow 6x-14=-5x-25$

$\Rightarrow x=-1$

$\therefore y=2$
