For x+iy=a+ibc+id then find the value of x2+y2.

Open in App
Solution

Given,
x+iy=a+ibc+id
Now squaring both sides we get,
(x+iy)2=a+ibc+id
Now taking modulus both sides we get,
|(x+iy)2|=a+ibc+id
or, x2+y2=a2+b2c2+d2.
