Ratio of A,B,C,D 's share=$(24\times 3):(10\times 5):(35\times 4):21\times 3)$
$=72:50:140:63$
$\Rightarrow 72+50+140+63=325$
Let total rent is x
then A's share$=\frac{72x}{325}$
$\therefore \frac{72x}{325}=720$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{325\times 720}{72}\Rightarrow 3250$
