Solution

The correct option is C 2
2x+3(x+1)(x3)=ax+1+bx3
Taking L.C.M. on right hand side, we have the numerator as
a(x3)+b(x+1)=2x+3
ax3a+bx+b=2x+3
(a+b)x+b3a=2x+3
a+b=2
