Redia is the third larval stage of the liver fluke, it is nonciliated larvae with two lappets near posterior end and a birth pore at the anterior end.
Cercaria is the fourth larval stage produced by Redia larva in winters and is free swimming, tailed and nonciliated larva.
Encystation of cercaria larvae produces metacercaria which is, in fact, a nonciliated juvenile fluke.
