Since it is projectile motion .
Ux=U intial velocity of ball Uy=0 as ball is thrown horizontally intial velocity in y direction will be zero.displacement in Xdirection Sx=20m as angle is 45 degree.time taken to hit ground t=20/U .Y component of velocity after t second will be equal to U as it make 45 degree angle with horizontal .VY=10×20/UU=200UU2=200U=102 m/sRegards
