  1. The general representation of an element is XZA, where X is the chemical symbol of an element, A is the mass number and Z is the atomic number.
  2. Comparing the symbol S1632 with XZA, X=S i.e. Sulphur, A=32 and Z=16.
  3. Thus, the mass number of Sulphur is 32.

Thus, from the symbol S1632, the mass number of Sulphur is 32.
