Solution

The correct option is B Oosphere
•Synergids are the haploid cells which are generally two in number. They are present laterally to the egg cell. The synergids along with the egg cell constitute the egg apparatus present at the micropylar end of the embryo sac.
•Oosphere is the egg cell or ovum present in the egg apparatus. It is the non motile female gamete with which the male gamete gets fused. This fusion of male gamete with the egg cell is called syngamy or fertilisation which results in the formation of a diploid zygote.
•Central cell is a diploid cell present in the centre of the embryo sac. It consists of two polar nuclei which get fused to form a diploid secondary nucleus. The other male gamete fuses with the central cell and this is known as triple fusion. It results in the formation of a triploid primary endosperm mother cell.
•Antipodal cells are present at the chalazal pole of the embryo sac and are generally three in number.
Hence, genetic fertilisation involves the fusion of the male gamete with the female gamete i.e. the oosphere.
So, the correct answer is B.
