Give a brief account on absorption of food in small intestine.

Absorption of food - It occurs in small intestine. Several enzymes released by Liver, Pancreas, wall of stomach and small intestine help in digestion of food. After digestion the nutrients absorbed by the inner wall of Intestine. At the inner wall of Intestine a large number villi present which increases surface are for more absorption. In villi very minute pores present which helps in absorption.
