Test for Sodium chloride solution and sodium nitrate solution:

  • Sodium chloride (NaCl) in reaction with silver nitrate (AgNO3) gives white precipitates of silver chloride(AgCl).
  • Whereas, sodium nitrate (NaNO3) does not give a white precipitate with silver nitrate(AgNO3).
