Open in App
Solution

Sodium chloride(NaCl) is an example of strong electrolytes.

  1. Strong electrolytes are the species which is able to dissociate completely producing respective ions.
  2. These ions are able to conduct electricity due to the flow of electrons.
  3. NaCl does not conduct electricity in solid form but conducts when it is in molten or solution form.

So, the reason is- an aqueous solution of Sodium chloride is a strong electrolyte since it completely ionizes in solution form.
