Pseudopodia is also known as the false feet in amoeba which is used for their motion. They are filled with cytoplasm in a eukaryotic cell. They are also used for absorbing nutrients and other matters. They are powered by microfilaments near the cellular membrane. Cells that make pseudopods are generally referred to as amoeboids.
