Solution

Particles of matter are constantly moving

  1. The Brownian motion and diffusion processes demonstrate that matter particles are always moving.
  2. All matter is made up of very small particles that are not visible to the naked eye.
  3. We can prove this by performing the following experiment:

Take two or three crystals of potassium permanganate and add-in 100ml of water. We will see that the color of the water gets changed. Now take 10ml this solution and add it to another 100ml of freshwater, again you will observe that the color of the water will change but it is not that much dark as in the first case. Now repeat this procedure three more times still you will find that the color of the water gets changes but it will become fainter and fainter. This activity concludes that particles of matter moving by diffusion in liquids.
