step- 1: Open the bottle of perfume, add cold drink in water and drop 1 crystal of copper sulphate in beaker containing water.

Observation: Fragrance of perfume spread immediately in the room, mixing of cold drink in water take some time and copper sulphate diffuses in water slowly. So it is concluded that particles of matter diffuse faster in gaseous state as compared to solid or liquid state.
