Solution

Adaptive radiation is defined as the evolution of an organism's group for specialized modes of life. One well-known example of this type of evolution is Darwin’s finches found in the Galapagos island. Charles Darwin noticed the variation in the beak of these birds due to their different location which contributed to their different lifestyles. The beak pattern changed depending on the food available in the region which reduced the competition for food and sufficient food availibility to each type of finch.
