1. Natural fertilizers - Compost formed of dung of animals, dead parts of plants and animals, animal excreta, agricultural wastes. Green manures are crops grown in between two crop seasons instead of letting the soil lie fallow. The soil is the ploughed along with the green manure crops before sowing the next crop. This adds nutrients to the soil.
