1. Natural fertilizers - Compost formed of dung of animals, dead parts of plants and animals, animal excreta, agricultural wastes. Green manures are crops grown in between two crop seasons instead of letting the soil lie fallow. The soil is the ploughed along with the green manure crops before sowing the next crop. This adds nutrients to the soil.
2. Chemical fertilizers - Superphosphate, urea
3. Rabi crops - Wheat, barley, sesame, gram, mustard, linseed
4. Kharif crops - Rice, maize, millet, mung, urad, peanut
5. Natural weedicides - Neem, introduction of a pathogen (bacteria or fungi) that selectively attack and destroy weeds
6. Chemical weedicides - 4-chloro-2-methyl phenoxy acetic acid (MCPA), and 2, 4-D (2-4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid)
7. Implements for weeding- hand weeder, wheel hoe weeder​
