Solution

(a) In lead chamber process, NO(g) is used as a catalyst in oxidation of SO2 to SO3.
2SO2(g)+O2(g)NO(g)2SO3(g)
(b) NO(g) catalyses the decomposition of ozone to oxygen.
O3O+O2
NO+O3NO2+O2
2O3+NOO+2O2+NO2
(c) Freons are stable, non-flammable, moderately toxic gases or liquids which have typically been used as refrigerants and as an aerosol propellants.
Some of the examples are- CFCl3,CF2Cl2 , etc..
When these are released into the atmosphere they slowly move into the upper layers of the Earth's atmosphere where the ozone cloud is located. Here, the Cl atoms from the halogenated carbons get liberated and react with ozone converting it into oxygen. This is how ozone is getting depleted.
