Solution

a) Naming salts. The name of a salt has two parts. The first part comes from the metal in the base or carbonate, or the metal itself if a reactive metal like magnesium orzinc is used. The second part of the name comes from the acid used to make it.

b)When sulfur dioxide is dissolved in rain, it makes sulfurous acid in the reaction SO2 + H2O -> H2SO3.

It is because of a very similar reason why CO2 is just a bit acidic, and that is because CO2 + H2O (maybe in the form of rain) -> H2CO3.

c)Al2O3 is not acidic it is amphoteric , meaning it acts as both acidic and basic oxides depending on the reaction , this is one of Aluminium's unique property.Na2O is basic because it belongs to the most metallic group metals that is the Alkali metal group .Notice the group of metals itself is called Alkali metals
