In cold water, the amount of dissolved oxygen and nitrogen gases are more than in warm water. Hence, aquatic animals can breathe easily in cold water than in warm water. Hence, aquatic animals are more comfortable in cold water than in warm water.
Note: The value of Henry's constant "KH" for nitrogen and oxygen increases with increase in temperature. Hence the solubility of nitrogen and oxygen decreases with increase in temperature.
