Give the reasons for the following : Birds, while, flying high, do not cast its shadow on earth

As the source of light (here sun ) is very large as compared to the opaque
body the bird the umbra formed is so small that it finished in the air The
penumbra formed by the bird is very large and very faint Thus it is hardly
visible Hence no shadow is formed
