1. The sperm duct is also called vas deferens which carries the sperm.
2. During a vasectomy, this duct is cut and ligated to prevent the movement of sperms outside the male reproductive system.
3. This is a permanent non-reversible surgical method and the reproductive ability of the person cannot be revived after surgery.
