(i) A is seminal vesicle, B is vas deferens, C is urethra, D is testis, E is scrotum


(ii) Vasectomy is the surgical method represented in the diagram.

(iii) In vasectomy, a small portion of the vas deferens is cut and the loose ends are ligated.

(iv) Tubectomy is the corresponding surgical method conducted on females.

(v) In tubectomy, a part of the fallopian tube is cut and ligated with a nylon thread. This blocks the ovum from passing through fallopian tube into the uterus.
