Solution

1.ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM :-

  1. The endoplasmic reticulum is a tube like structure and is made up of tubules and vesicles.
  2. Ribosomes are either attached or detached and with that there is classification of rough and smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum.
  3. The main functions of ER are synthesis, folding , modification and transport of proteins.

2. LYSOSOMES:- As we all know lysosomes are know as as the suicidal bags of the cell. The main functions are:

  1. Removal of dead cells.
  2. Intracellular digestion.
  3. Autolysis in cartilage and bone tissue.

3. GOLGI BODIES:- These are complex bodies acts as a factory in which proteins received from the ER are further processed and sorted for transport to their eventual destinations: Lysosomes, the plasma membrane.

4. Plastids:- These organelles are mainly found in plants. The main functions are:

  1. Photosynthesis.
  2. Production and storage of metabolites.

5. Nucleus:- Known as the heart of the cell. Without which the cell dies. The main functions are:-

  1. Reproduction.
  2. Control of genetic information.
  3. synthesis of protein and enzymes.

6. Mitochondria: Often known as the power house of the cell. The main functions are:

  1. ATP generation.
  2. Regulation of innate immunity.
  3. Programmed cell death.
